Not ready to give up!

Wow, Long time no blog, huh? Well, so much has happened but I’m okay with it. First, The store I worked out went out of business. Yes, I worked at Mervyns who sadly went bankrupt. I dont mind not working but the thing I miss the most is the people. In the begining it was hard trying to get back into the role of not working but..I think i have adapted pretty well…Maybe…yeah. At least I have a bit more time for myself…to do..stuff. Yeah, I got nothing!*laugh*

Second, is that my family is suffering from lack of money, as is the rest of the economy. It’s not as bad as others but its still bad enough for us to worry a bit. But, we will prevail!!! We are Royale!!!  Aside from alot of sad and bad I am pretty happy. Why lie? I’m extremely happy!!!! I have so much that I never believed I would ever have.  I am a very lucky and grateful person. Now, all I have to do is find a new job to get back on track! Yes, sir, I won’t give in so easy.

If I had more time

A little more time…

Sometimes, I wish I had more time to do a lot of things.  In a way I do have the time but at the same time I don’t. I guess it’s really hard to explain. Well, in the end I guess I will have alot of extra time once I’m out of a job. Yup, as many people know the Retail company I’m working for at the moment will be closing by the end of the month. Mervyn’s is closing! That sucks! I’m more upset at the fact that I wont be able to see some of my favorite people almost everyday.  Im just trying to make the most of it while I can.

My next problem is trying to find a new job. It’s a lot harder now that so many other people are losing their jobs also. Oh well, Im just happy that I have so much in my life. So much more than I deserve and so much more than many other people will ever have. And its many things that money will never be able to replace. ^_^ Yay for Saby!

No Worries

You know, this is going to sound like something you would hear out of a book and maybe you’ve heard it before in other places also but…(I know this will sound a little wrong!) It’s okay to be rough with me. See, there are different types of rough-there is the kind where it’s meant to hurt someone and the kind that is used to describe something not meant in a hurtful way. I know you don’t want to cause any damage and believe me when I say you won’t.

When I receive a hug it’s nice but you mention that you sometimes just want to squeeze me tighter but don’t want to hurt me. I would think that by now you would know that it takes alot for me to actually end up hurting physically. I fell out of a tree! And didn’t notice any cuts until I had to take a shower. I had a swing set dropped on my head! Sure that might have messed up my brain but I’m here*laugh*. Even then I didn’t cry from the pain cus I really didn’t feel any. I cried cus I was left there while someone went to go have Pizza!*laugh* I’ve had so many injuries and have come out okay. Now those are meant to hurt.

How could I possibly feel any actual pain from the way you want to hug me or anything for that matter. I know you mean it all in a loving way and with that in mind, I will never be hurt by it. I’m sorry I’m not a dainty girl who will say things like “Ow!!! I broke a nail!” . I’m the girl who says “*gasp*Damn it! My nail broke! Just when it was growing a little long. Oh well, back to square one.” In my family we’ve never held ourselves back when we wanted to express our love. If I wanted to crush Wendy in a hug, I would do it until she screamed cus I loved her so much and in a way the harder we squeeze the more we know how much we love. I know its weird. I rough house with my brothers and sisters to the point that we punch each other. But we never take any of it bad. I know you’ve seen us just punch out of nowhere while saying “I love you!”. That’s how we are and I don’t want to scare you back or anything but just make you understand that while society has taught, for many years, that girls must be treated gently and cared for like porcelain dolls; I taught myself differently because I don’t see myself in that matter and I didn’t want to be bunched in with “all girls”. I live by my own Saby way and it works for me. So I will fight, I will chase, I will wrestle, I will bite(not hard), I will scratch(also not hard), I will rough house like crazy and never worry that its harmful. I like being this way. So, when I know that you do it out of love-how could I possibly feel any pain or see it hurtful.

It’s okay to hug, it’s okay to tackle, it’s okay to do anything you want as long as there is love behind it. Who wants to live a normal life and be treated like other girls? Not me! I’m not a usual girl and I like it this way. Why ask for a Diamond ring when I could ask for a chocolate chip cookie? Why would I want to go to fancy restaurants when I could go to the park and just be with you? Why go to a large store when the swap meet is much more fun? Why go out to the movies and spend money when I can download them and watch them at home with any snacks we want and wearing a giant, comfy sweater(and its cheaper!!!! WHOOO!!!!)?

Other girls have asked me what you do for me, what you give me or tell me to ask you for things. I give them this look of “Heck no! I already get the best out of him!” I notice the way they think and it makes me laugh because in group conversations I have nothing in common with them when it comes to talking about relationships. They talk about gifts, I talk about gestures. They talk about fights, I talk about playful banters. They talk about annoyances, I talk about loving qualities. They talk about break-ups, I stare like this—> O.O! *laugh*

I’m definitely not the same! So (This is going to sound wrong so, people get your minds out of the gutter!) Be Rough With Me. It can’t hurt me when the meaning behind it is much more.

Damn Gaia!

So today I was walking by my sister Wendy as she played on the Lap top. I saw, what looked like a DDR Game for your fingers on the screen! Saby was very excited! I stopped to watch her play and quickly asked to play after she passed a level. Wendy said “sure!” and got up immediately. I sat down really psyched to play this awesome game. I was ready to give my small chubby fingers some exercise! I was ready for Ultimate status!

So, there i go…playing on easy and it was pretty easy. I did miss a few cus I was just getting into the groove but soon I went to…….MEDIUM! Once I passed that I was going for the goal…I was going for HARD! So….I didn’t pass it and wendy had been playing for awhile raising her up a few levels and I lost all of that for her. See, apparently, there are 21 levels and at each level they raise the bar on how good of a percentile you need to get to proceed to the next level. I started all the way at the beginning determined to get Wendy her big prize by passing the last level with the needed 100%. I was going at it! My fingers were stomping and moving quickly. I was cheering for myself out loud. I was bouncing to the music memorizing each note. I was in the zone! Soon, level 19 was upon me and I knew that victory was well in my reach. Triumphantly, I started the level and tapped my fingers to the beat. Suddenly, Wendy spoke up and mentioned something funny. To my horror, I laughed out loud causing me to miss a step! I kept going reassuring myself that it was only a note….just one little missed note. When I reached the end of the level I looked up at the screen as I saw the words “Game Over” come up. It seems I needed a 95% to move on and that missed note caused me to only receive a 94%!!!Man! I was so close and I was proud at that fact to! When I went to type in a comment saying “Do I at least get a consolation prize?” I noticed it did not show up. Curious I opened up the speech box and froze as “SERVER DISCONNECTED” Appeared before my eyes. I couldn’t believe it…I had been playing the whole time on a disconnected server so even if I did win the game I would never have gotten the prize. I WAS PLAYING FOR NOTHING! Everything I had been striving for would have been for nothing if I had won. I started laughing and couldn’t stop! I was so happy I didn’t beat the game cus i would have been really mad! Wendy jumped in and started laughing along with me. I actually started to cry cus I was laughing so hard. Wendy just patted me on the back and said “It’s ok.” Damn gaia!

My Serenade

After we returned from Olvera st. we rested for a bit before Tony let me know that we would have to be leaving soon. The day before he had asked if I would let him take me out after we got back. I said “Yeah, That would be fun.” I kept asking him where we were going but he wouldn’t tell me! He said it was a “surprise”. BOO!!!! I wanted to know immediately!*laugh* But anyways, we said goodbye and left. Along the way I realized that he was driving in the direction of Veterans Park. I thought, ‘Ok, were going to go hang out at the park like we did one time. AWESOME!’ I like just walking and talking with him because it gives us a chance to fight in a playful way on how differently we see things.

So, we pull into our usual spot and I jumped out of the car shouting “*gasp* Its the evil tree I fell out of!” See…The last time we were at the park I decided it would be an awesome Idea to climb this tree I had climbed before. Well, when Tony got there I tried to get down and wouldn’t you know it…I fell out of the Damn thing! I got a couple of cuts but I was laughing so hard on the floor I didn’t even notice them! Tony looked horrified but then chuckled lightly as he noticed that I was all right. Oops! Back to my story- Tony opened the trunk of his car and took out a blanket and handed it to me. He pointed towards the park and said “pick a spot.” I gave him this blank ‘wha?’ look but he just smiled and went back to the trunk. I started walking up the small hills and looked back to see Tony walking behind me with a couple of bags. I never imagined that he had planned a picnic for us. We talked a bit on the way up until I just plopped the blanket down. “Here’s a spot!” I proclaimed as I just gave up on the search. He unfolded the blanket and began the task of taking out whatever he had in his bags. I sat down and watched him take out Crackers, cheese, Little pieces of ham(i think), marshmallows, chocolate syrup, whip cream and Sangria Soda! Now, long ago I had discovered the Sangria Soda thanks to my dad and ended up getting terribly addicted to it. It’s just sooo delicious! >_< So when I saw Tony had bought it, needless to say, I was excited! He placed the snacks on paper plates and poured some of the soda in small clear cups. I had never felt more special.

We talked a bit and you know what?! I ended up learning a new yummy snack! Tony placed a marshmallow on a ritz cracker then topped it off with whip cream and then the chocolate syrup! This is Tony’s rendition of a smore, only yummier and with no heat needed! It was Amazing! Thank you, Tony<3 After a little while Tony turned to me and said “I have another surprise for you, But I have to go get it out of my car.” I was thinking ‘More?!’ Before Tony got up to go get it he looked at me kinda shyly before saying “But, you have to close your eyes so you can’t see it until I get here.” I pouted and gave a mini protest but of course I agreed. I had my eyes covered until I felt him sit down on the blanket again. He sounded even shyer as he said “Ok, you can look now.” I took my hands down and saw Tony sitting in front of me with a beautiful guitar. I looked at him a little confused when suddenly he said “I’m going to sing you a song. But don’t make fun.” I was so overtaken with different good emotions that all I could do was nod and say “ok” at that point. I looked at him as he only looked down and strummed a few strings trying to psych himself up for it and would whisper “ok” every little once and a while. He tried to start a few times but always stopped out of nervousness. I thought it was the cutest thing I had ever seen but I didn’t want to say anything to make him more nervous. After a few minutes he began to play. My heart jumped in my chest as I recognized the notes. Tony was playing “Hey there Delilah”. Then the next moment he was singing it, only the lyrics to it were changed up to include my name in it and be more about us. He stopped a few times because I could tell he was very nervous but I never said anything or made a move because I didn’t want to mess him up. Halfway through he just stopped playing and looked down. He apologized for his nervous playing and assured me that he had practiced. I could never accept an apology from him for what he was trying to do! I loved it! I crawled over to him and just pulled him into my arms. I couldn’t help holding him and being thankful for what he did for me. My feelings were overflowing and I hoped that he could feel them and know just how strongly he had affected me. Tony then let me know that he had actually done this song as his final project for speech class. I was so proud of him! He told me of his adventure as he had to learn how to read the music and play on a not so good guitar that would cut his fingers. I was beyond overjoyed. After we spoke a bit about it he seemed to have gathered his courage up again and went to give it a second try. This time he took it slow but it still sounded Beautiful to me. He messed up a few times but I really didn’t care. I only focused on what it meant to me. When he finished the song he put his guitar down and came over to me. I was full of happiness, love, and something else that I could never describe. It was so much that all I did was wrap him up in a hug!

Tony, you made me feel more loved than I have ever felt in my life ❤ Thank you, really thank you! And maybe one day I’ll be able to hear the song at full speed and I will once again be in awe at your awesomeness.

Olvera st

The day began with me waking up a few minutes before my alarm was set to go off. I was so paranoid that I wouldn’t hear the alarm that my mind automatically woke me up early. I was unsure if my sister Wendy was going to join Tony and I so I went on my way to get ready. After I was mostly ready I decided to wake Wendy up and see what she said. She seemed a little surprised at the time and rolled out of bed running off to get ready. Right at that moment the doorbell rang. Wendy and I looked at each other surprised then down at the time. It was only 9:30am! No way was Tony here already! Wendy ran into the bathroom while I went to open the front door. It turned out only to be my brother Joshua back from detention. I sighed in relief as I wasn’t really ready also.
After a bit Wendy was ready and I heard my sister Esmeralda open the door in which this time Tony did step in. The time was 10:17am and the first thing out of my mouth was “It’s not 10:30!” He smiled wrapping me up in a hug and justified his early arrival by saying “I said 10:30ish.” I pouted. He was correct.
We had planned to leave early to catch the train but got distracted by the movie “Like Water For Chocolate”. We managed to get up to the station and buy our tickets a few minutes before the train got there. GO US!!!! We joked around on the train about nothingness and everything. My stomach was hurting so much from laughing. When we finally got to the L.A Union Station we jumped off and followed the massive crown that was pushing to get out. Finally, Olvera St! As we walked up to it we passed by a small area full of tents. Some people were set up for a hunger strike in the name of immigrant rights! I applaud them! You go guys!
They were having ‘Dia De Los Muertos’ dancing exhibits and we decided to stop to watch a couple of them. There were some people dressed as skeletons doing small skits in which i didn’t understand much of it. Neither did Wendy and Tony but we laughed whenever we did catch something we understood and was meant to be funny. Tony didn’t pay attention much as he was too focused on his Shaved Icee that he had bought right before we watched the skit. It was cute watching him enjoy his Ice with a smile on his face.♥

We spent the whole time browsing through all the stores and buying nothing but candy. Tony especially! At almost every candy cart he would stop to buy candy! By the time we decided to go have lunch he had eaten part of his candy and then pulled out many more when we sat down to order. Wendy and I laughed at the sight of Tony enjoying his candy and at the sight of him pulling so much of it out of nowhere! We ate lunch at this small restaurant right on Olvera Plaza and I ordered a Strawberry Margarita in which all three of us shared it. It was sooo good! We got our food and of course Tony couldn’t finish it. After having Candy and A cup of Shaved Ice…its no reason he wasn’t very hungry. My burrito was big so that is my excuse for not finishing it. As for Wendy, her Hamburguesa was gone. She said it was delicious and her finishing it off proved it. ^_^
Wendy and I fell into a major energy deficiency and started acting like weak fools. Tony didn’t seem to mind as we set out on a quest for MR.CHURRO! We got there but then got distracted by other stuff. We walked some more and once I knew it was time to head back to the train station I asked to stop to get some Ice Cream. Wouldn’t you know it! I dropped the top off of my ice cream but caught it with my hand. I placed it back on top but had sticky mess to deal with. I didn’t mind that much cus…AT LEAST I GOT MY ICE CREAM!
Once we got to the Station we decided to see if the train was already there. It was but the doors had yet to open .So we sat down to wait and during that wait I had a bad cough attack thanks to some delicious Tamarido Candy. Luckily, I was able to make it go away.Hee! Once on the train we mostly sat in silence and listened to our Mp3 players. We got to our station and then headed home content with how our trip had gone.

Here I go again…

Here I am giving it another try. I have tried many times to start a diary or even a blog thing on myspace but I never seem to be able to keep them up. So…this time I’m hoping that by just having a place where I will only write blogs it will help me to keep it up. I will start by at least writing down my yesterday.
